To set up Unattended Remote Support for ReedTex support agents
This file will install a small utility that can allow a ReedTex support agent remote access to your computer even if you aren't available to begin the session. This is a convenient way to schedule after hours software maintenance and updates. This utility DOES NOT allow support agents to spy on you. There will always be a GoToAssist control box in the lower right hand corner and an icon on your taskbar whenever an agent is logged in. It does allow the agent to view anything on your computer. If you do not trust ReedTex Support DO NOT INSTALL this utility. By installing the utility you agree to allowing a ReedTex support agent access to your computer.

Follow your browser's instructions to download and run the program. Steps vary on different browsers.
Once the installation is complete you should see a notification in the system tray that GoToAssist Unattended Support has been installed.
If you have a Windows login password it will need to be saved for your agent.
Click on the GoToAssist icon (orange triangle) in your system tray. You may have to click the small up arrow to show hidden icons.
Hover over Unattended Access and select Update Stored Password.
Enter your Windows login password. NOTE: The agent cannot see your password but it is stored in an encrypted file so they can log in without it.
